During the opening of the scientific forum “The Role of Culture
and Arts in Combating Crime and Extremism
the Moroccan Minister of Justice emphasized that culture
and arts are key factors in confronting crime and extremism
and essential elements in forming a cultural reference for
individuals capable of fortifying their thinking against ideas
that contradict the requirements of coexistence.
Kingdom of Morocco - Rabat The scientific forum “The Role of Culture and Arts
in Combating Crime and Extremism”, organized by
32 Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS)
in collaboration with the Islamic World Educational,
Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and
the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime
(UNODC), brought together over 180 specialists from
the ministries of interior, justice, social affairs,
information, and culture from Arab countries, as
well as regional and international organizations and
experts from universities and relevant institutions.
